ELMAB acquires Mora CNC and forms ELMAB CNC
The new business area, ELMAB CNC, will include Mora CNC as well as ELMAB’s established unit in Falun, with a forecasted turnover exceeding SEK 100 Million in 2025. By combining Mora CNC’s cutting-edge expertise with ELMAB’s extensive industrial experience, the group aims to establish a strong platform for continued expansion and innovation in CNC machining.

ELMAB, a leading manufacturer of standardised and customised hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic components with approximately 90 employees operating in Dala-Järna and Falun, continues its growth journey by acquiring a majority stake in Mora CNC. Mora CNC is a prominent family-owned company based in Mora, with around 30 employees and widely recognized for its high level of automation. The acquisition leads to the formation of the new business area, ELMAB CNC, consolidating the group’s efforts in CNC machining and advanced production technology.
Mora CNC has established itself as one of Sweden’s most automated CNC companies, building significant expertise in automation and robotics. Through a focused development journey, the company has grown its revenue from SEK 4 million to SEK 65 million over the past ten years, showcasing its innovative production techniques and strong growth.
Ingemar Dahlström, the former majority owner of Mora CNC, will remain as a shareholder and continue driving development in production and automation technology. Mora CNC’s current CEO, Patrik Eriksson, will, with the acquisition, assume the role of CEO for the new business area, ELMAB CNC.
